Volunteers needed – Powell’s Creek trail work – weekend of Nov 10-12, 2023

Volunteers are needed to help with building a section of boardwalk on the Powell’s Creek trail, in Woodbridge on the weekend of Nov 10-12.
We’ll build a boardwalk over a wet area where the trail exits the woods at the powerline corridor (location marked on map). Work will start on the morning of Friday (Nov 10) and continue on Saturday (Nov 11). (and continue on Sunday if needed). Please register here if you can help with this project. Park on Scuppers Lane at the powerline corridor.
The Powell’s Creek trail is along the creek, between Leesylvania State Park and Rt 1, in the Port Potomac and Powell’s Landing communities of Woodbridge, VA.
