Trail Workday – Occoquan Greenway, Hooes Run area – June 8, 2024

Volunteers are needed to assist with improvements on the trail in Lake Ridge, along the Hooes Run section of the reservoir. (This is a trail that will become part of the Occoquan Greenway). Please register here
We will replace a small wood footbridge with a larger bridge, and reinforce the stream bank with stones to impede erosion at the site.
The trail workday is Saturday, June 8. Time: 9:00 am to noon.
Volunteers will meet on Colby Drive, at the intersection of Colby Dr and Galley Ct. Park on the street. Cordless drills and circular saws would be useful if you have them.
When you register, we can let you know if the event is rescheduled due to bad weather, and we have a better idea of how many people to expect.
