OLR – Round Table on McCoart to Occoquan Trail

The Occoquan-Lake Ridge Civic Association will host a Round Table discussion with all interested parties for the purpose of building an alliance that will work together for the advancement of the McCoart to Occoquan Trail.
LRPRA president Gayle Whitlock has been invited to participate. Kim Hosen Executive director for the Conservation Alliance has been invited to present on the benefits of community trails. Mike DePue from the PWC Parks & Rec Dept will be there to address concerns about the lease agreement, liability, maintenance and costs that have been voiced by the LRPRA Board of Directors. Other interested groups have been invited to participate, including: the Town of Occoquan, PW Trails and Blueways Council, PW Trails and Streams Coalition, Lake Ridge Runners, and LOCCA.
