Neabsco Boardwalk & Creek cleanup – Saturday March 16, 2024

The cleanup is now scheduled for Saturday March 16. (It was postponed from March 2 due to rain).
We will be working from two locations:
– Neabsco Regional Park, 15125 Blackburn Rd, Woodbridge, VA 22191 (boardwalk area)
– Neabsco Eagles Park, 15801 Neabsco Rd, Woodbridge VA, 22191 (stream cleanup downstream from litter trap)
Volunteers are needed for the cleanup at the Neabsco Eagles Park site. Please register here.
(Thank you to the many volunteers who have registered already for the Neabsco Regional Park site!)
Please remember to complete the Parks Dept waiver form, and send it by email to [email protected] or bring the completed form to the cleanup and turn it in at the registration table.
On Saturday, March 16, 2024 (9:00 am – noon) we will be conducting a trash cleanup on Neabsco Creek and at the Neabsco Boardwalk in Woodbridge.
Trash bags, litter grabbers and gloves will be provided. Storm water surges in the stream leave trash in flood plain areas, which can be wet and muddy. Wear boots or shoes that you don’t mind getting dirty.
