GMU PW Campus Piedmont Trail Workday

Join us on Saturday, October 2nd, from 9am-1pm to work on maintaining the Piedmont Trail at the Prince William campus of George Mason University.  Students, faculty and staff from Mason will team up with members of the Prince William community to;  repair washed out areas of the trail; build several bridges; redirect a portion of the trail; spread mulch and pit fine on the trail surface; and erect an official trail sign.  We will be meeting at the tent area located near the southwest corner of Freedom Aquatic & Fitness Center.  Park in the western portion of the Freedom Aquatic & Fitness Center parking lot.  Pizza and water will be provided at noon courtesy of Mason University Life.  POC for the event is Rick Holt, [email protected].
