2nd Sunday Hike – March 10, 2024 – Powell’s Creek in Potomac Shores

Please register here for the 2nd Sunday Hike on the south side of Powell’s Creek in the Potomac Shores community. With the leaves off the trees we will get great views of the Creek and a look at possible crossing locations for the Potomac Heritage National Scenic Trail.
Most of the hike will be on a natural surface, established and maintained trail; the last section of the loop as we return to the start point will on on sidewalk.
Meet at the trail head on Potomac River Blvd, near the intersection with Potomac Shores Parkway. The nearest street address is 2150 Potomac River Blvd, Dumfries VA 22026
Start time is 1:00 pm
Registration will allow us to track the number of participants, and notify you if the hike is postponed or cancelled because of weather conditions.
