The temperature was only 19 degrees but we still enjoyed the hike from Lake Ridge to the Town of Occoquan. Thirteen participants completed the hike, following the planned trail route through the open areas around Hooes Run and then through the 64-acre wooded parcel which borders on Tanyard Hill Road. This hike started at the offices of the Lake Ridge Association on Oakwood Drive; the route was about 3.3 miles. Here’s a photo gallery from the hike.
