The new parking lot at Doves Landing is nearly complete. The crushed rock surface was recently installed. PWTSC will partner with the Parks Dept on a National Trails Day event at Doves Landing, on June 6.
On April 25th, volunteers completed a new trail segment leading to a stand of old growth woods. Aerial photography from the 1930’s showed that most of the area had been cleared as farmland at the time, but one section of woods remained. That section now has a distinct appearance, different from the secondary growth which surrounds it.
