Site visit and planning for lake shore improvement project – Locust Shade Park

PWTSC members will be visiting Locust Shade Park on Saturday morning to view the site of a planned lake shore improvement project to be completed in April.  The project will include installing fencing to protect certain areas of the shoreline, erosion control measures, and trail improvements around the lake.  We’ll also walk some of the trails to check for downed trees or other maintenance issues.  Meet at the gravel lot.  Contact Neil at [email protected] or 703-232-4037 about this event.
