Many thanks to the volunteers who came out and worked to remove trash from the Occoquan on Saturday.
- about 44 bags of trash were removed from the water in the vicinity of Lake Ridge Park & Marina
- about 25 bags of trash and two tires were removed from the water near the LRPRA boat ramp (Hooes Run)
- 10 bags of trash and a variety of large plastic items were removed from the water at Riverview Estatates HOA
Results from other sites are still being tallied.
