The section of trail on the Benedictine Sisters property received a new stone surface recently. A new layer of gravel (21A) was applied along the 4/10 mile trail segment, then topped with stone dust. A tracked skid steer loader completed the final grooming on Saturday morning, Oct 24. This will make the trail more durable and inhibit the growth of vegetation on the trail. PWTSC volunteers also completed some trimming along that section of trail as well.
This was the second application of stone on this trail segment. The stone surface was first applied by PWTSC in March 2009, as shown here
