Volunteers gathered on Saturday, Nov 9 to complete a number of improvements to the PHNST in the Powells Creek area. A section of boardwalk was installed where needed to cross a wet area, signs were installed to guide trail users, downed trees were cleared, some mowing was completed, and additional blaze markers were painted along the route. Thanks to the PWC Parks and Rec Dept for providing trail signs, and to members of the Potomac Heritage Trail Association for joining us. These improvements are a step towards completing the trail and making it more enjoyable for trail users.
