On September 8, PWTSC volunteers completed a mowing and trimming project in preparation for a cleanup on the Hooes Run area of the Occoquan Reservoir. A section of trail in Lake Ridge was mowed and cleared so that on the day of the cleanup (October 13) volunteers will have access to areas where trash has accumulated. The trail work will allow volunteers to reach the area and then carry the trash they gather to the collection points for removal.
